    *looks outta the window*

well, apparently there's a main road outside...but all I see is water..more like a river than a road but luckily not up to the house (although it is in town in places) We're "uphill" so we're ok!

Several roads closed locally...water pumps all over the place..and the rain just keeps falling...

Imma gonna build me an ark

Hope it does not to bad for you guys, i'll keep my fingers crossed though.

Me i'm on the dip slope of the north downs so apart from the road turning into a river we are quiet lucky

12 days of rain here... now you know why i was moaning last week.

Had a brief respite on Saturday morning in Epsom but I'm back in Devon now as its still raining.

                theres an interesting idea,
what would you take on board for posterity
                • two actinic programmers ?
                • two copies of v8
                • two goats (nah sod the v8 copies, get another couple of goats)

who would be captain?, best mate?, any of you land lubbers volunteering to go along for what promises to be a great holiday (read adventure)

(no laptops) remeber, actinic towers may be under water - your'e on your own here.

I am just south of Sheffield and thankfully did not get caught with any of the rains... getting around the area is a different matter though and could not get out of the village where we are as all the routes were blocked

Some of the pictures on the TV with the River Don showed our old premises about 2 feet under water and a running river... suddenly the broken air con at the new place does not seem so bad.
