Most users ever online.... (on the forums)

Ever wondered what 789 people were doing here at 11.03pm on 31st Jan 2007?

I often look at that and wonder on earth everyone was doing and how many of those 789 were/are members (as there are usually a lot more guests than members online)

I've never seen that many online here...not even close..and at that time of night

    S'pose I'm just nosey

bored ramblings...should probably go to bed but I'm waiting for Actinic to check html in a vain attempt to slimline the extended info/single product pages by removing some of the unnecessary stuff
Not gonna upload...will do that at the office tomorrow morning (upload speed 7 times faster there!)..just wanted to test the "check files" bit

    ok...now I'm off to bed

    I wondered that too!

My guess is they had exactly 57mins of their financial year left to run and were looking for tips to squeeze as much out their Actinic site as they could! Better late than never!

I've always seen that and thought, hmmm i don't think so. BUT, maybe there was a time distortion and everybody was a month late celebrating new year?

Have our lives got so bad we would actually consider the possibility that 789 people would spend New Years Eve on the Actinic Forums?

That fell off just as I jumped, it will no doubt land on my head with Looney Toons comedic timing just as I think I am ok!

              All had failed v8 snapshots?

The previous one (I think) was when the email with the v8 downloady link came though for the first time.

I've often wondered which would reach terminal velocity first. A man with a piano tied to his feet and Big Daddy on hs shoulders. Or, a rock in a rucksack.

Now, I know it's the first one. Another one on of life's little mysteries cleared up.

Steve guess it depends on how big his jacket was and how quick it filled with air, if it filled instantly then maybe reaching terminal velocity would not have been very quick

it was all the left over guests from my birthday party, they just wouldn't go home so I attempted to bore them out of the door

                              a thought on this.

i'v prepared my perfect angry suicide to confound and astound should the need ever arise.

                              i'll need
                              -a tall building
-a bungee rope, the length of a building less 8 foot.
                              -superglue
-a big floppy pink cowboy hat
                              -strong thin metal wire

well, i tie the bungee around my feet, and the razor thin wire around my neck. making sure that the razor wire is a coucle of foot shorter than the bungee.

i superglue the cowboy hat to my head, and my hands to either side of my head. leaping off the building, at the length of the razor wire, it will slice my head, clean off. but, since my hands are glued to it, i'll keep hold of it.

the bungee will bring me to a halt at about eye level for the people below.

for them, they'll see my manic smiling corpse, upside down, wearing a big pink floppy cowboy hat, with my head in my hands, saturated in my blood, still gushing from my neck stump.

but, lets hope i dont have to do that.
