Oh dear god, nobody should have to go through this sort of tragedy in life.

now that makes me shiver, easy listening makes me think Home Service and Radio 2

                i prefer mellow and chilled

how do you snooze listening to uber noisy rock?

My Chemical Romance, Tenacious D, Staind, Linkin Park, Nirvana...on a day like today especially.

It's been loud and stress-relieving at times (apologies to the office next door but I don't think they're in today )

                    staind.

                    excellent stuff.

                    and jo?

everything below 150bpm is easy listeing. in fact, after a good bout of the new Bimmu Borgir album, nothing you listen to has any volume at all.

                    perhaps i'm musically retarded.

Go see Mr Rice live, had Edinburgh absolutely jumping with a majorly souped up concert, cracking gig.

Ears are still recovering (literally) from Hard-Fi on Monday though, small room+massive amps=sore ears yet much fun!

i invite all the pedantic bastards on the board to find something totally innocent in these pictures and spin it wildly out of proportion.

these are a couple of pics from when i was at download festival. i'm in festival mode, so, generally, this isnt how i normally look. i look much more professional in real life.

do you like my spotted hat?

Pic 1: Gabriel has a spontaneous need to audition for the main role in Jesus Christ Superstar.

Pic 2: Here he does a very good impression of Mick Hucknall just as the photographer lifts his/her top.
