Decided it was too early, so edited it :-)

These days I only drink G&T on planes (ryanair gin comes in plastic bags, yuk) and trains, it's so expensive then that you can't drink too much of it - I won a bottle of Sloe Gin a few weeks ago at the village fete though, so might be a good time to move to the living room and have a large glass of that, in preparation for falling asleep whilst watching the BB eviction.

Sky News reports sales of cider are down.

I haven't been away, so what's all that about?

They were giving Cider away in Minehead yesterday and no-one seemed to want it.

There was a french market there as well mind you, selling Olives, Biscuits, Breads, Cheeses, Cidre, Wine, Turkish delight, Baclava (not very french I know but definately sold by a nice French man), so maybe that was distracting people.
