Good Mood Day or Bad Mood Day?

I was in a really good mood driving into work this morning with the sun shining down and was making plans what to do today

Until I opened the post to find a customer has gone into administration who owes us £500.00

Is it a good mood or bad mood day for you and why?

Good Mood. Check for £400 quid in post this morning and I'm drinking tonight!

Generally good... but the odd frustration is trying very hard to prevent it!

3 Ps on my hitlist today
Protx, ParcelForce and Printers...all of which are conspiring against me!

It's not that one that's challenging me! It's my "antique" HP all-in-one that isn't playing ball this morning LOL

Now...find me my missing parcel please, Lee

                  Mixed Mood Day
Bad - having to start looking for work after a long period with one client and finding the poor state of the contract market (anyone want a used Visual C++ coder?)
Good - contacted by a guy who is selling us a load of second-hand games to expand our personal collection (aka product research)

should we get committed together, G?

Try Actinic, you're not Hungarian are you though?
I know there is a few of us who would like a php guru who we can call upon as and when we needed, get learning Alan. I'd happily pay a tidy sum to just get what i want, when i want it. Javascript at times too.

Its a tempting thought. I considered moving into Actinic web design, but I'm not a designer and that seems to me to be important for good web design. I'm probably going to face a period out of work (not uncommon in the biz) which I would use for training. The decision I have to make is: do I
                          (a) expand my scant C# and .NET experience, or (b) move into web technologies?
Option (a) means staying in the contractor/agent rut, (b) means more freedom

BTW: I'm not Hungarian, but I do use Hungarian notation (programmer's joke).

just found out the customer who went into administration taking us for £500 has setup again (for the third time) with a slightly different trading name.

                            the administrators letter says
"representatives of the new company will be contacting you to discuss any potential future trading relationships with you"

if the cheeky b******s think I am dealing with them again they can get stuffed!

However, as they send carriers in to collect the pallets maybe I should send them a couple of pallets of boxes filled with bricks
