The little round things at the side Jan were (note "were") hand-made Champagne truffles.

Chocolate and alchohol, how perfect is that.

I've got to make a cake for a BBQ tomorrow, mine won't look anything like that, in fact it will be lucky if it looks like a cake at all. I might go for my usual plan b and just get the kids to make it - actually, it's summer, so I could make a summer pudding, no cooking involved there, it's more like lego that baking, problem solved, hooray :-)

Don't you think that it's rather ironic to have an aphrodisiac that has the side effect of making you unattractive (well when eaten in very large quantities).

I'm going to Crete, already got my 5 star (he he, I wish) hotel booked. However I can assure you that you really wouldn't want my two girls in your house, they are very loud, slightly dangerous (they passed their yellow belt grading today) and full of err 'fun'.

they remind me of all of nieces and nephews from Wife's side (not that my side one's are any better)

they do not need yellow belt to be dangerous (when 5 of them charge you then there is immediate danger)
