    MSN and Dmoz

    Hi

Our MSN listing are poor for our main keywords. This is mainly due to MSN using our Dmoz description that was written 7 years ago.

I have requested many times for an update but I guess the editor for our section is no longer taking changes/requests.

Any ideas how to get this changed or removed?

    Examples

    http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=jobananas
    http://search.msn.co.uk/results.aspx...MSNH&mkt=en-gb
    Thanks

The DMOZ description has no real effect on your rankings so I doubt that it is the reason for your poor rankings. Getting a DMOZ description changed is almost impossible.

Could do with getting our main keyword in there somehow.
      Thanks

It still will not improve your rankings.

            Interesting

As a result of this i found this

            http://searchengineland.com/070228-140603.php

It could be useful to block SEs from picking up old descriptions - not necessarily to improve SEO, but to show the real page description for searchers.
