My Skype went down yesterday after a Microsod update. - It could not sign in. Microsod help said it was a Skype problem which had not been fixed, but today - Friday - it's working again.

Spoke too soon - it's failed again. Not signing in. Doh.

I thought it was playing up, it connects me occaisionally, but none of my contacts are online, which is almost unheard of

I haven't installed the latest MSsecurity update yet, i think thats a red herring.

confirms there are still problems at Skype

Probably right Jo - just a coincedence. Was ok at about 8 am but after the reboot it failed to connect.

It appears to be coming back to life, contacts are still showing as offline, but if you go and talk to them, they go online as if by magic.

Straight in first time today...maybe the issues are sorted and somebody has remembered to plug in the server
