This could be applied to most software developers. It's a bugs life!
Don't stop there, give us the definitive alphabet. Don't forget the:

S - Web designers are talking out their brown starfishes about our software
    T - No they weren't

    etc. etc.....

Where is Gabe after 20 hours of failing to get PHP to read the product description on his XBOX installation when you need an Actinic alphabet creating?

Fun with lettering: The Actinic way!

The lettering thing is a dull as you imagine it is.

The first letter stands for the year - 2000 was A, 2001 was B and 2007 is H.

The second and third letters are to do with the month and the day - which would work really well if there were 26 days in the month. So you start with HAAA on the first of January 2007, and then it goes HABA, HACA etc. but as soon as you get to the 27th of January it goes to HBAA and then rattles through the year quite merrily.

The last letter is the build on that day. So if there are 2 builds in a day, the second build will end with a 'B'.

The only slight hiccup caused by the scheme was when we released a custom build to a big important client called 'BETA'. It caused a few confused phonecalls...

Oh, so Chris, that's not fun then, oh, right, no worries, I'll find fun somewhere else, it'll be all right- I'll listen to Mika, he will cheer me up

... perhaps not, what other fakeries are there out there to cheer me up now that I know Actinic lettering isn't what life is all about?

Regards, well sort of, sorry about the puncuation grammer guys,

The sentiment is fine but surely HADA is January 4th.

It is a bit late for this but I think you meant HDMA. i.e day 91 - 1st April 2007

And to think that I thought that it was all about Hungarian surnames.
