Is there any point in .gb.com

I want a certain word as a domain name, it is only available as a .gb.com

Do I;

a) Purchase it.

b) Go away and think of another domain name that is available as a .co.uk or .com

b as well. Ideally you would want the .com and .co.uk domains of the same name as well so a rethink might be best. Also if you got the .gb name then you would still be competeing with the other variations as well.

I've yet to see a .gb name in use. There aren't many .eu ones in use either in the UK.

Just do what eBay, Google and others did - make up your own name that's not been nabbed.

before someone snatches them up. (the last one is not made up - it is a real word!]

.gb.com domains? The cynic in me thinks that this SLD was made available as a bit of a revenue generator by the Domain Name Authorities! :0

http://www.spectacles.gb.com/ is actinic, only gb domain name i personally know of.
