In the utility half of our conservatory (runs along most of the width of our house) we have tiles and an industrial scale runner length mat along the direct route through - the flat ones with a rubber back that don't stick - as you walk in. 3 paces and the muck from the wellies/dog is left on the mat and doesn't walk into the kitchen. Almost never have to wash the tiles, and a simple hoover every now and then of the mat and surrounds keeps it looking quite clean

We haven't done the other half yet (behind the lounge), but I quite like the idea of slate as it's quite warm on the feet in winter and cool in summer apparently.

I thought your office was going at the top of the garden?

Or maybe you're planning on working from the hot tub

My neighbour does his emails in the bath apparently. I think a hot tub would be more fun to work from - especially if one tipped in a bit of bubble bath!

my garden is big enough to fit, the new office and the hot tub in, mind i will have to move a few things, lets be honest, the hot tub sounds a whole lot more fun than the office anyway

I recently went to a wedding reception, where after most poeple had gone home the remaining dozen drunken souls all got into the hot tub.

after a while some dopey twit did something silly in it so everyone tried to jump out at the same time - well the max capacity was supposed to be 7. so everyone got out, and no water remained and the tub went pop.

              £600 later......

What about rubber floor? We're an agent for a great product - I'll pm you so that I don't get accused of shameless self promotion!
