    Microsoft SQL

    I can get a MDF file with product data from one of my suppliers, and idea on how i can use it to import into Actinic as I dont have SQL and not sure exactly what is in the database in addition to the products etc

    Is it definitely MDF Chris, as that is a CD image file or something like that i think. I think a lot of P2P files are in that format or they used to be.

    Anything like powerISO, alcohol or Roxio should be able to unpack it. Send me a sample if you like i will see what it is, be interesting to know, i've definitely heard of the format before, then again it might have been on DIY SOS last night.

      Hi Chris

      Indeed, you can drag it straight into Excel via MS SQL. Have you got MS Office installed Chris?

      Not sure if burning the image file will result in this as all you will be doing is replicating the MDF file. It will still need SQL to correctly import.
