I think the location is the last thing to worry about, as long as it is roughly central, that will be fine, draw a line from the furthest north to the furthest south attendee, split it in half and that is where the party should be.

I just think it's a little star raving bonkers to be thinking of a xmas party in the busiest 2 weeks of most peoples businesses, especially on a forum where ecommerce sites is a general flavour across the board.

As for the location, as long as it is near a decent hotel, no worries. If the numbers are good then I can always negotiate a bulk rate discount from the hotel....you never know

Are you going to the NEC show Darren? I'll be on a stand there for a couple of days selling my some of my wares - Trade day and the last Sunday I think.
Be good to put the name to the face if you're there.

I used to have my own stand at the NEC but I stopped doing it because I was out of the office too long, missed my family, got depressed and even began to argue with my customers
