    Manager: STEWARD PEARCE (totally agree)

    Team (4-4-2):
    Goalkeepers: Foster, Carson

    Right Back: Richards, (Ifil)

Left Back: Cole A, (God knows) (what about naylor? has Champ league experince. good for backup)

Centre half: Terry, King, (Ferdinand/Dawson, Taylor)

    Right mid: Wright-phillips (Lennon)

Left mid: Derbyshire (Cole J) (derbyshire is a striker, or am i wrong? unless you refer to downling)

Centre mid: Gerrard, Barry (Hargreaves, Huddlestone, Noble)

Strikers: Rooney, Agbonlahor (Walcott, Owen) (i wouldn't consider owen. i would include Ashton if he is fit however)

    Stewards: Robinson, Johnson

    Corner flag: Crouch

    Tea-maker: Lampard

    Towel - boy: Beckham

Matty D is an effective left sided striker yup, but I feel with his pace and dynamic approach could add a little more balance to a stifling midfield and gives us a bit more oooomph going forward from deep.

Contraversial but hey, canny be any worse than Mac The Clown IMHO

Good call with Naylor, Ashton seems a bit jinxed but if he can stay fit for longer than 48 hours he would be an ideal hitman.

I see you have promoted Becks

If he was fit, and I mean really fit, I'd have Beckham in the squad.

I would too (sub in friendlies)

Just to get his ton then pop him out to pastures new and build a new team that could, possibly, might, have a chance at winning something

Wouldn't touch Jordan though, honest (*is sick*). In fact I'd like to fight her and her furkwit partner.

Instead I'd probably accept Patsy Kensit if Kelly Brook wasn't available...

i like Matty D. has a good future if he sticks in blackburn. i seen a goal a few weeks back. pure class...

a good manager must take bold decisions.

Becks is just old. he cant drag his carcass around the pitch (mind you england had campbell on the pitch yesterday). the only things he has done to date is get send off in the World cup and score against Greece on pretty much the final whistle and push England to qualify for the Last WC (if i remember well). i do not doubt his crossing ability (before all of you start) but that all he can do. he barely runs and his marking is attrocious

Ashton would be my preferred striker with Rooney over everybody else. for me he combines pace, finishing, and power (reminds me of a Mr shearer in some aspects).
