    Office Furniture Suppliers?

I am after a new chair, or rather an extra chair plus a filing cabinet or two for my office. Any recommendations from anyone or even some actinic site owners that do these?

I do seem to have an evolving pattern when i want things, that i have never designed a website in that industry. Thank you Sod.

Viking always have deals on for chairs when I don't need one so might be worth having a look as, err, I don't need any at the moment.

Avoid Argos and Macro etc, our last lot of stuff we got at Staples although there was an incident there that I'd rather not repeat.

LOL you can't say that and then cut us off.
I want a daddy chair, a cabinet that i can put stationery in at the top, books in a second drawer and then them file hanging thingys for the bottom drawer. Need to learn difference between foolscap and A4 though, sure i will get it wrong otherwise, although how did storing paper get so complicated?

Well i just shortlisted 8 filing cabinets on viking (what a crap site, get some piccies on your section nav you divs!). I then narrowed these down to 3, then to 2 and then 1, got my card out and had a brainwave to check sizes before i pay. Luckily i did it wouldn't fit under my desk, nor would any of the other 7, all 3cm too high, so sod it, i can't be arsed. The crap on my desk can just stay right where it is for now.

Right that gives me another £100 quid for my chair, so an electric reclining massaging puppy it is, stuff this extra cabinet mallarky.

LOL it gets better, i just KNEW i never should have started this. My desk (IKEA) has been discontinued in this colour so i cannot get a cabinet to match it, nor can i get the extension i was after, all other 5 colours are still available, the 6th choice (my one) was discontinued 3 months ago. Oh the joy.

I'm off to see my old Russian mucka....stuff this.

                  .
                  colour coordinated office furniture?
mine looks like an office patchwork but, hey...it does the job.

don't be so picky and just pick another colour

Don't go too cheap - Vkng chairs wobble, come loose, creak & groan, the fabrics wrinkle & the leather is v. thin. It can be false economy to buy a new chair once a year - go for a top quality one & it will last & last, moulding itself to your posterior & becoming like a second home.......

If you can't find inurl:acatalog (I'm sure I saw someone on here recently that was complaining about his office furniture site not getting any orders?) then try *Bay, there are hundreds listed. I've got two for sale on there - Vking ones I'm getting rid of, they're rubbish.

I highly recommend a trip to Ikea to look and try the plethora of chairs they have on offer. Solidly built too.

Can't say I'm wild about the filing cabinates, they're all A4. Foolscap please - we're British.

It is a sad day on the forum when we learn Mr Hack is concerned over his co-ordinated office furniture I had him down as an old door propped up on a pile of beer crates kind of a man!!

He could use the tree felled by Darren and create his own cabinets and stain the colour to match the existing.
