It's Friday and this forum is like a ghost town

Has anybody else noticed that after a rather informative, fun filled week; this forum is like a ghost town on a Friday?

You half expect to see a ball of tumbleweed come bouncing across your screen. "Hmmm, I wonder what's happening in V8?" *click* *poof! hundreds of moths burst out, attacking you from every angle* and when the dust settles... nothing. Not a soul in site.

The only sign of hope is the notice stating (2 viewing) in the AOB forum. Excitedly you head off in their direction *click* *poof! here come those damn moths again!* and the (2 viewing)?... they must have gotten lost or wondered off because they are nowhere in site.

I'm really rubbish at it but I love it all the same. It's one of the few things that makes me giggle like a little school boy!

costly - If only I'd known - I'd have stuck to 1 string kites with bows for a tail!


The one on the left cost £320 and the one on the right £450 - both second hand!!!

I priced up my "ideal" kiting setup, just for fun, (getting near Christmas and all) and I had to stop when I exceeded £4k
And I hadn't even got to the accessories!
