stumbled across this tool, it allows you to interrupt a windows shutdown, and run an app of your choice.

perhaps to be use to back up, or copy your catalog mdb as you shut down, keeping it safe.

with some creative vb script or something in autoit or even a simple dos batch file, this'd be a clever 'last chance' backup. for those worry mongers.
