Fax orders

We do get requests from clients if they can fax an order through and am now thinking of adding this as an option.

We would be basically looking at adding a fax order form which the client fills out with something called a pen (has anyone heard of this) instead of a keyboard.

There would be a print button on the page which would only print the form and not the whole viewed web page for the customer to use his mystical pen device.

Would this be difficult to implement and any suggestions?

Just as you can create printer friendly pages, in the same way you could create fax pages that can be printed out and faxed back. There have been posts not too long ago about how to create printer friendly pages, a search should bring them up.

we still include an order form in our catalogue and get a number of orders via this method, either faxed or posted, so i would suggest dont just tie it to fax.

But there is easy ways, create a pdf and allow the customer to print it, or set it as an order option and using one of the payment methods just change the desription
