are you guys still having problems? (other than the obvious )
I'm home now, on my bt connection (and back on laptop instead of Opera mini, thank god!) and can see all your sites fine, Duncan.

Just done a Tracert to www.1and1.co.uk and it gets to ***.oneandone.net then times out. I think it may be 1and1 not allowing Virgin IPs perhaps.
          Possible?

Duncan after getting some strange looks, you sites are working fine here.

Just to let you know i have had problems with a few sites today, they are slow and these well one is definately not a european site. I definately noticed things seemed a little strained here today, and my voip has been messing around, keeps dropping connections, may not be related

I have no idea if I was ON virgin at all..although I recall seeing ntl somewhere in my ip address (ooooh, probably when I captured by ip address in an order on site once!) so I presume I am...

Virgin without knowing it, huh...interesting though...

                              Here's the problem:

                              http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/11..._webhost_down/

Two UK web hosting companies - 1and1.co.uk and easynet.com - owned by Rupert Murdoch are suffering a little downtime today, leaving customers without email or access to their websites.

Easynet's support page says it's been suffering intermittent problems on its core network since 1.38pm but hopes to get things fixed by 5.38pm this evening.
