For: Helps with browsing at home (although a number of spaz's make their choice at home, then go in and look up the book again on arrival to the store rather than write their order down at home, thus slowing down the speeding up theory), especially for older people and people who just want the job done.


Against: Kids create itemised lists, which is bollox as it rules out (at least a bit) the element of surprise.
