messages to the administrator of this forum

tried to send a message to the administrator of this forum
and I got a message back saying

Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails. If you still wish to send an email to this user, please contact the administrator and they may be able to help.

problem is the message was going to the administrators at the time. Do administrators accept emails, if so how,
one other question, does that mean that the message I spent ages crafting to the administrators never did get through or is the message a red-herring.

Hi Kevin - I got an email from you this morning, so I guess you figured it out. Just use the regular 'Contact Us' form.
