We go live on Monday hence the stock take mid week and here now trying to get all the nominals to balance. Monday will be fun... will be like trying to speak a whole new language almost overnight.

The Actinic integration cost us around Ł3500.00 but this also enables us to process credit card payments via Adflex which reports back and if paid posts the sales nominals accordingly to show the customer has paid (huge time saving for us)

The integration also links to APC to create dispatch labels.

              FAO Sean

Few months down the line - I take it you have bite-the-bullet and gone for Sage. Can you confirm the two way links is fully working? If using v9 and Sage 50 Accounts 2008.

I am now same position as yours - gunning for Sage but the price tag does really make you think twice.

              Many thanks

                Hi Vincent
                Ahem.

We haven't had time to do it yet. I managed to forget that the summer is our busiest time, so starting out with a new accounting system would have been a mistake.

We do have it planned for the Autumn though as the lack of integration between Actinic and TAS has really slowed us up in the order processing department.
                Kind Regards

The best time is after year end, when you have a fresh start and can run both together for a few weeks to make sure they agree

                    How right you are Chris.

Our end of year = 30th April.
Our busiest time = May & June.

Outcome = not enough time to turn around let alone change accounting package
                    Kind Regards

one of the other reason to justified Sage is the support of barcode on stock management. so we have a streamline system from stock-taking > account > actinic or vice versa

sage now have protx, i might even consider jumping ship from worldpay as well

barcode on sage - what a price tag! i wonder anyone doing it already in this community??

Just wondering, does Sage Instant Accounts v14 work with Actinic?

according to the spec - it is Sage Line 50 - the more expensive version.

give it a try anyway, it won't hurt.

                              Sage 50 Accounts Plus/Pro 2008 Same as Sage Line 50 ??

Is Sage 50 Accounts Plus/Pro 2008 "same as" Sage Line 50??

According to Actinic Links it only supported the Sage Line 50.

Don't want to get the wrong one..

                              Anyone knows?
