Does anyone use the "Local Collect "Post office service

Does anyone use the post office service where you pay £300 per year and have your parcels delivered to your customers local post office for them to collect,

Costs normal postage rate

Looks like a good option, though not sure how to intergrate the local post office with the address, although the Post office gives a weekly acceptable post office list you can use

I looked at this some time ago.
Its a good idea, but way too expensive in my opinion.
Basically, the option already exists for a customer to redirect to their local PO.
If they are not in at delivery time, the 'you were not in' card provides the customer with the option of redelivery to a local PO, fo something like 50p (payable by customer, not you).

The way I look at it is we send over 250 packets a week so the £300 a year to get a signed for sevice looks cheap to us.

My main concern is that to use this service we would need to incorporate a list of post offices maybe County and Post office supplied by RM each week into Actinic so that the customer just had a option to use this service and used a drop down menu to select his local post office and that PO got printed on the invoice. Otherwise we would spend eternity sorting them out
