Slightly OT but when I had a computer company we used to buy a lot of stuff like test equipment from liquidation auctions (we're parsimonious Scots after all). We would also always buy the first steel storage cabinet to come under the hammer. That way we could put all subsequent purchases into said cabinet for security. Ended up with plenty of spare cupboards!
