Software to run your business

I'm looking for software to run my business.

• I want something that will do the CRM/sales process thing (currently use SugarCRM but more than happy to move away from that).
• Then convert a sale into a project - typically could be any one of 4 different sort of projects.
• The "project" will have a basic template that will encompass project plans and/or checklists - a predefined workflow.
• Finally, I'd like to invoice customers correctly based on materials used and time spent (currently done with Sage Line 50 but I'm not fussed about sticking with it).

I'd prefer it to be a PC or server based application rather than an on-demand web application


I've looked at various things including MS Dynamics NAV (a bit over the top for our needs) and Mamut (very unsure about this).

Has anyone come across something in this area? Or do I have to dust off my Access skills

Get a PA, she won't do much, but great for moral. As we speak mine has just brought me 2 pieces of toast and cup of tea, that will be the lot for the day though as her nails need doing.

daylite on the apple mac is great if you have access to one that is

not sure if they do a pc version worth a look though
