is there a nifty firefox extension for downloading an entire website, i can't seem to find anything

not seen one JO, but there are loads of web grab type software out there.

Mostly shareware or trial versions - search for Web grab and see what you get

e.g. http://www.glnetsoftware.com/webgrab/

www.httrack.com is a freebie, very good, very clever. register it and it removes the annoying popup, but thats controlled by style and if you wanted to , you could change the style to "no display"

Not a FF plugin but Expression Web is a great tool (and does the website importing excellently). You can download a 60 day fully functioning trial then discard once you have imported the site.
