    Vista Licencing

One of my personal PCs is very unstable after it had an upgrade from XP to Vista installed (it was bought just before Vista came out and Sony sent the upgrade through later). I'm thinking of buying a full current version of Vista and trying that instead, but I've never bought standalone operating system software before. If it doesn't work on the existing PC (ie it doesn't fix the problem), would the licencing still allow me to use it on a new Mac instead (ie using bootcamp)??

i cant see the point in running xp as a dual boot os on a mac, osx is far superior in every way.

perhaps use your vista, or xp in vmware? you'd get much more productivity out of it that way.

Dooh thats what I ment - this Mac stuff is all new to me.

Im getting to start a 15inch MacBook Pro with a 30inch Cinema Display and an iMac. Once I have got my head round them I will ditch the rest of my PCs
