        Ah, but is it true or isn't it?

        From what I can see, the examiner in question was presenting some training on marking and was giving an example of how any sort of response was worth considering for a mark.

        I don't know if it's a real story or he made it up, but I don't see that it matters much. Giving someone 7% instead of zero isn't going to make any difference and I think it just shows the examiner had a good sense of humour.
