Nor is it limited when it comes to taking payments. Not only will it accept PayPal, Google Checkout and most of the major IPSPs, but also payment on delivery and invoice with order. Actinic wanted to allow its users to handle MOTO (Mail Order/Telephone Order) in a secure way that would comply with the new PCI DSS standards and so it built an Actinic Payments gateway which will be fully compliant. This costs £100 per annum.
Yeah, it's a mistake. v9 has Google Analytics, currently it's just Express that has Google Checkout.
The technical press mostly get things right, but unfortunately there is a regular trickle of slip-ups like this. From my experience of reading articles on subjects which I actually knew something about, the national daily press are much worse at making mistakes. I guess it's because of the daily deadlines.
We were wrongly listed in a BBC article as the UK importer of a particular product ... the phone for the next 5 days way blocked with callers wanting to order products we did not sell or could not get hold of. Great.
