Macbook Pro / VMware Fusion / Quickbooks / Actinic / XP

Does anyone actually have real experience on VMware Fusion?

Particularly setting up the Macbook with XP (perhaps Vista!), and simuntanlisly running Quickbooks / Actinic on the Windows side.

I saw some review reported the accounting software are fully working. But knowing how "fragile" "delicate" "sensitive" of Actinic - I wanted to make sure before spending some money for the Macbook.

In theory it should work - how about the performance?

    Any comments welcome.

I'm using Actinic with Parallels (XP Pro) - have been for about 16 months, works perfectly well but do get the odd printing problem. There's at least one other member doing the same but I can't remember his username.

A MacBook screen would be pretty small IMO.

Remembering the road to Actinic enlightenment is a long and sometimes painful one.

In May I made the switch from running Actinic in Vista ( Actinic V9 in Vista was was terribly buggy at the time) to running Actinic V9 in Windows XP on VMware Fusion on my Macbook. I've never looked back!

I tried it in parallels as well but VMware feels so much easier to use. Checkout this thread for a conversation on the subject: http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=37370

I can't comment on Quickbooks but I'll bet it works fine as well.
