          Vengaboys!

I went on a coach, pub crawl, leaving do, with a load of workmates.
The organiser had made a tape of 4 tracks of the Vengaboys and played the thing continuously from 12:00 Noon 'til 12:00 Midnight.
I've never had so much fun in my life!

          Then I bought the CD.........

I went to see a band called "Dumpy and his Rusty Nuts" once, and I bought their tape too. In fact, if I remember rightly, they were big enough to be the support of 'The Quo, at Newport Centre once.....those were the days!

jeez - I'd forgotten about Dumpys Rusty Nuts. I saw them in Northampton in 19## (too far back to remember when)(and too drunk to remember much about the experience)

                But they're still going strong.....

Bought the Nolans Greatest Hits (£1.00 clearance bin) for retro sing-alongs in the car. Fantastic. Cheers everyone up and get some bizarre looks from other drivers.

I have a box in the loft with albums of SHAME in it. I believe nestling in there is Mike Oldfield with Tubular Bells II (that's right - the even worse sequel) also Justin Timberlake with Justified (I was lulled into thinking it would be pop genius but it is 95% tedious R&B 'jams'). I would also mention I have Oasis with 'What's The Story Morning Glory?' as one of my worst albums, but I will probably start some kind of community bar brawl.

Worst gig? - probably Badly Drawn Boy when he spent the entire gig complaining about the sound and starting songs two or three times because he was happy with the sound. Terrible.

I've also just unearthed my Boney M' album. But I love it. Ra Ra Rasputin is such a great song! [am not doing myself any favours here am I?]

Excellent, let the Oasis bashing commence. I'm right there with you!

I, incidentally, also own Tubular Bells 2!!!
                        Cheers

I'm behind you on this one. Can't stand them.

I also have both Tubular Bells 1 & 2 (not 3 though - there are limits)

                            Embarrasing albums? Me?
                            * trys to hide the Steeleye Span collection *

Oddest gig: Martin Carthy. About 20 people at the venue. He kept stopping about three lines into each song to tune his guitar. Susan insisted on knitting in the front row which freaked him out - he had to ask her to stop.

Its that luminous green pond still there in Snodland? If Darren draws his water from there that would explain a lot
