So long. Farewell. Auf Wiedersehn. Adieu.

    Hello all.

Just to let you know that after ten happy years at Actinic I am moving on to pastures new at the end of next week. I'm handing over my product management and documentation responsibilities to a fabulous team, so Actinic will continue getting better and better with each new release without me there. It's a very amicable parting of the ways - it was just time for me to try some new things and move into some new areas.

But this isn't so much 'goodbye' as 'hello again' as I will be setting up my own business doing websites (and probably the odd ecommerce site ) so I still plan to be around the community a lot helping out and giving advice, so you won't get a chance to miss me.

If you want a sneak preview of my new life, you can check out http://www.randomriver.net/ I'll introduce the business properly next week when I do my first post as a civilian.

Thanks to all of you that have made my time working on the Community a stimulating, challenging and very rewarding time.

Well, I'm still on company time at the minute. Naturally, when I'm out on my own the gloves will be off.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm looking forward to it - exciting times!
