    Actinic Designer/expert Required

    Hello,

We are looking for a designer to make a retail jewellery site for us. We have used Business V.7 for years with our wholesale jewellery site and are familiar with actinic.

We bought V.9 business multi site about 8 months ago but not had time or knowledge to create a professional looking web site.

We have a basic idea of what we want, have our own pictures, have a good working knowledge of backshop so basically just looking for some one to create template/skeleton/set up of site.

PM or e mail us for more details.

    Thanks
    Regards
    Rob

Is it free? last time i looked there was a small charge.

whilst it was only £2 i felt it was sufficient to put people off and reduce the number of requests.- thus negating its usefulness IMO

I assume he changed his mind as there is a paypal button there now.

It would be interesting to see how many requests there were before the charge and how many after

                    Charge

                    Hello,

Yes i registered and there is a charge to list your job although not completely clear how much, the reason I did not list is not because of the small charge, it was I didn't like the look of the system to be totally honest but that was just my opinion. I think had it been a bit more active or all registered designers etc were listed etc I may have listed the job.

Anyway this is all getting off topic, I'm still looking for someone to do this job.

                    Thanks
                    Regards

                          Andrew,

Good looking site, Lee's done well on this. One thing I did notice is the tabber mod - the tabbed fragments at the bottom. The text runs through the 'footer' of the tab box in FF3, I think this is more to do with the controlling CSS for the add-on and not the CSS Lee has created (or am I barking up the wrong tree?) - might be worthwhile getting the developer to have a look at this, which I think is Norman (Drillpine).

                          HTH,
                          Grant

                            You're right.

Initially, I thought it was a good plan, and the the amount was trivial, however, it seems like, looking at the stats, there is a high dropout rate at the 'part with 2 gold coins' part of the whole show.

The cost to post a job, or a project, has been removed.

If you want, you can pay a paltry £1 for your project to be featured (above all other projects), other than that, its now completely free.

It is using normans add on, never seen it with embedded images before though. Opera has the same problem of overrun when displaying the tabs.
