Folder Lock

Looking at securing some essential folders on the desktop and found http://www.newsoftwares.net/folderlock/?id=ga and wondered what other users might be using what thoughts you may have on different set ups.

Any ideas gratefully received..

Desktops can and are stolen. I would never leave anything sensitive on any desktop or laptop encrypted or otherwise.

I use a pen drive. Again possible to steal and easy to lose but far more secure than any computer and back this up to a NAS unit.
Although I have to say what I store in electronic form is more necessary than secret such as Actinic backups and password/username files for the plethora of site that require such things which I won't need once I am able to let HM Government know all there is to know about me and have it stored on their 'ever so secure' central database from 2012!
