Password for Internet explorer

Hi all

We have just set up anew pc in one of the offices, which most people have access to for certain documents, but we only want a certain few to be able to use the internet. Is there a way of passwording internet explorer or an alternatve internet browser.

Give them all their own login profiles and restrict the internet on the untrusted ones.

Using a standard 'Office Network' this shouldn't be too much of a problem. What operating systems do your office computers use?

the pc is on xp

Bacause the pc is networked with 3 other pc one being vista, would giving them there own profile affect the other pcs or just the computer its self, i did not think you could turn of the internet on profiles on xp.

block the ip range on the router, set the pc's you want to have access to a lower range and the other to the upper range. Edit the router configuration to allow web access to the lower range of ip addresses.

Yep +1 for this - if you are using XP/Vista this is the easiest tool I've used for this kind of function.
