Flash 10 not working in FF3

OK i updated my flash player to version 10 and since then ff has stopped playing flash videos.

Im pretty sure its a ff / setup issue as chrome is fine and IE. A browse of the internet shows its a common theme but no fixes found yet.

So has anyone else found any problems yet or got any ideas?

I've just loaded the latest version of FF (on a PC which didn't have FF on it), having previously loaded Flashplayer 10, and everything is OK. I presume you've tried reloading FF?

nope next step is to uninstall, definately looks like a ff bug, it thinks i have v9 installed, but i dont. So i guess the update was not recognised. Obvisouly it works as chrome is fine and so is IE.

These days i am finding ff tiresome from the constant crashes, if it did use firebug i probably would not use it.

Yep, the only reason I just loaded FF was to play with Firebug.

Saved me when I had an issue with FF some time ago. Best advice I have ever been given when having problems with FF is to disable all add-ons and re-instate them one at a time and to see which one is causing the crashes.

If it wasn't for the fact that crappy, slow, buggy, insecure etc, etc IE still dominates the browser market I would never go near the Microsoft product.

We've just loaded FF on another virgin PC which already had Flash 9 loaded, and Flash wouldn't show, so we loaded Flash Player 10 and it worked......

Normally i would agree with you, but not these days FF is really testing me it is not what it used to be - i find i use chrome a huge amount lately

Is it just me, or does FF wreck layouts (eg product) which appear to be okay in other browsers?
