Pissed off with www.mobiles 2yourdoor.co.uk today.

Ordered a PAYG mobie online yesterday and called last night to see if it had been shipped. They told me the order had been cancelled (I was neither called or emailed) because `we do not ship to business addresses`. I said it was ordered with my business maestro card which is obviously registered to this address, `company policy` that they said, `we do not ship to business addresses`.

Well.... Miss mobilesnot2yourbusinessaddressdoor dot co dot uk, then please... try LETTING YOUR CUSTOMERS (sic) KNOW rather than letting them find out for themselves when its too late to order elsewhere.

That's completely illogical, isn't it?
Could understand not shipping to an ALTERNATIVE address to cardholder, business or not, but not shipping to business addresses even when it's the registered card address is just stupid.
Their loss, I suppose (although your frustration, obviously)

Hmmmmm sportsdirect, ordered a bike for my boy for xmas, in november after 2 weeks i rang to ask about delivery to be told out of stock, i asked when it was comming in they did not know, i asked when would you tell me it was out of stock we always let you know after 30 days

Homebase have them in stock

Homebase have them in stock for home delivery only. I have just place an order and had it confirmed. Homebase are part of Argos and the scooter has the same catalogue number but they have different warehouses. Argos have ran out but homebase still has some.

I found one (well, 2 actually) in one of our local Argos stores today. Have reserved both in the hope that we'll get one of them, at least (don't trust the stores not to sell the stock if someone asks, even though I've reserved it)

I considered it, Duncan, but I'm sending MIL to pick up and she won't fetch 2.
Plus, it's getting a bit close time-wise to be buying/selling a second one now.
Plus, I VERY much doubt they actually HAVE 2 by the time she goes to collect!
