Log burners

Does anyone know anything about them or can recommend a company

i want to replace my fire with a log burner and to be honest the information on the internet is limited. I also want one with a boiler on it, obviously to heat the water

Had a good wood burner a couple of years ago from these guys:

We have a Nordica cast iron/stone wood burner, but it doesn't have a boiler. Heats the house fantastically, though (mind our insulation is something else).

Our heating/hot water is powered by an Aga rayburn, which is very easily maintained, looks classy, and produces a phenomenal amount of heat when necessary - highly recommended, though in the rayburn market you do get what you pay for

Indeed. And regardless what you cook on it - it'll always taste better than any other conventional cooking method

Try the Danish brand Morso (the "o" is one of those danish ""o's" with a slanty line through it, pronounced "oooh" as in "oooh matren") Ours is the Squirrel, we have two one with a built in boiler - one without. Very efficient and great build quality, quiet small though, only takes 9" logs.

If the have the room and money Aga is the way to go.
