    Shipping a 2.2m x 0.3 x 0.3 x 8kg parcel

I need to get two parcels from Bath to Huddersfield with the above dimensions. Can anyone give me a courier that will do it for non-account holders, or does anyone want to do a third party collect for me? Value is £350 in total.

It will go with Parcelforce 48 Long, but I need an account to access that service as the usual limit is 1.5m.

ARre you sure parcel2go offer a 2.2m length, I took a look earlier but couldn't see any services offered for 2.2m

The only two services I coul see were:
      www parcelbrokers.co.uk - TNT 24 Extra - £37.15 + VAT
(Have never used the above so cannot comment on service/reliability)
      and
      www bananadoo.com - TNT Next Working Day - £21.33 + VAT (account set-up required)
P.S Bananadoo often offer good international prices

Parcelbrokers only seem to offer a next day service and it's £37.15 for each parcel. It's not that urgent. a two or three day service is fine.

          I'll try registering on boxby

Paisley freight and sameday only offer £10/Kg insurance and you can't extend it. The Boxby quotes are coming back at £200!

Actually, Darren B's the person to ask. He does building stuff so shipping (not slipping!) long lengths (ooh err missus) would be a cup of tea for him.

                    Probably.
