That's funny. I was planning completely the opposite approach. On the few occasions I have contacted previous customers, they have never returned.

I don't often plead but please hang around & check in from time to time. You stand out from the crowd in your approach to things and this approach comes flak. The flak is a sign you are on the right track, more often than not it's just that the people firing the flak don't want to hear the truth IMO.

Two examples:
One I offered to source any partiular requirements they might have.
The other I informed that I had stock of up-and-coming products he had shown an interest in.
I think it says more about the nature of my customers, then my emails.
