Anyone come across a way of making use of an existing site's secure space and SSL to store "operational" files such as excel and word, so that these can be accessed securely via website, changed, created and upoaded when finished (ie I'm not talking about backup)? The presentation of the files on the web page would have to be very similar to Windows Explorer (ie folders and files within folders, click on the file and it would open in Excel or word, then "save" and it would upload) so that it would be straightforward for everyone in the office.
People like egnyte.com offer this service, but it seems daft to pay for it when we already have secure space available.
