Who's at work despite the snow?

    http://twitpic.com/1alj3

We are. Thankfully I can work from home, just as well as a) there are no trains b) the children's school is closed . Husband set off for work on his bike an hour ago. Just came back having fallen off. Will also now work from home.

Oh and we also have a hospital trip this morning as child no. 2 broke his thumb on Friday and fracture clinic is this morning. We have winter tyres (another Swiss thing we carry over to the UK) so will have no probs getting there. Question is, will the consultant make it ...

      This is Harrow, NW London.

Even in Switzerland we would be impressed by this amount of snow. 6 inches and counting.

It's about 4 inches deep in Cumbria. All the schools are closed and I'm waxing my cross country skis ready for a days skiing!!

Trying to get motivated to do something here, although the girlfriends car wouldn't start this morning, so may be spending some time trying to get that sorted.

We've only had light snow here in Northants - much to the disgust of my kids! - so there's minimal disruption so far.

I work from an office at home (although I'm about to sign a lease on an office in town) so travel to work was as quick as usual

If I took a day off work every time there was snow I'd miss about 50 days a year!

most schools are closed here, even though we have got off lightly (so far)
That said, my boys' school is open (w00t!) so they went and I'm at the office.
With heavy snow forecast for this afternoon though, I'm a bit morre worried about getting home again!

Plenty of snow here, and still snowing, got in OK. Actually all staff made it in and we had customers at 8 this morning, not seen anyone since mind.

Time for a football match or voly ball in the warehouse, keep the everyone warm and of course the fitness side of things.

Could get bad later, it would seem we are in for more heavey snow lunch time.

No buses and trains part suspended in London - have told the staff to take the day off and we are closed today. Can't say I can afford to do that if this continues the rest of the week.

I have plenty of work to do at home via a PC link to the shop computer, although the most pressing engagement I have this morning is setting up the video cam ready for Olivia (19 months) to play in the snow in the garden

A few inches up here in Fife, Scotland - seems I picked the best morning to go pick up my new car from the garage - got a nice blizzard to drive through on the way back to work

No snow in my little bit of Devon, so all normal here.
