    Dilemer with what laptop

Been looking at laptops recently and have pretty much decided on the Dell XPS Studio 16 with a few upgrades.

Then comes along Sony with their FW range, with all I can say is a cracking deal on the SSD - It's so CHEAP!

What shall I do now, I just can't make my mind up

They both look pretty smart but it all depends on what you want to do with it.
If it's a laptop to travel with then I would stick to something small and light, if it's a main machine then maybe something with a larger screen.

If it was me I would buy something that I could safely knock about such as one of the Dell business range machines such as the E5500.

Im not going to be taveling with it much - only up and down stairs

Im just a sucker for style tho and I pretty much want a 16:9 ratio screen - don't ask me why, im not even going to watch movies on it, all im going to do on it is businss, design and programming.

I'm just annoyed that Sony have reduced the SSD down to such a silly amount on the FW that it has thrown a nother spanner in the works

I'd had a few netbooks, and honestly; SSD is too slow.

even the top models, i'm pretty sure arent that fast, and tbh, have no real saving on power either.

mind i am comparing this to the latest eeepc. definately the trend setter.
