Image Copyright

Hi all,

Is there a way to place Copyright text over a group of images i.e batch process this. I know you can do this as 'meta text' but I wanted something visible (seached google last night and others have pinched my pics!!!). I have a couple of hundred images to process and although I can do it manually I just wondered if there was a simple batch process that created a text overlay for each image automatically. I do use Photoshop but I can't see there being an option for this....A friend has lightroom but he doubts you can do it with that either.

Photoshop is perfect for doing this, you need to learn actions and then batch processing, a joy to behold once mastered. Tutorials on the web for both in abundance.

You *can* do it in Lightroom, but its awkward. Faststone is by far the best option, and it's my favourite price.....£0.00

Do these resizers deal with getting images to correct aspect ratios also or just a straight resize similar to what a browser would do?

Faststone does aspect ratio or wide edge etc. Its pretty much got everything covered for this kind of work in my opinion. You can put your © text straight in, blend it and colour it or use your own image etc. It can also add borders and do multiple other things that Photoshop ought to be able to do in a blink (but doesn't - well, not easily anyway).

Downloaded Faststone (great little program), images have all been processed in seconds, now for the actinic upload - better put the kettle on!

The best thing for me with regards to Faststone is they do a single exe version. Which means it sits on my USB key and goes everywhere with me (well, not everywhere of course, there are places a USB key simply just shouldn't go).... A proper software company if you ask me.
