    Actinic user conference

I'll be going to the user's conference in Richmond. If there are any other developers who would like to share a car from the South/South West, let me know. I'm in-between Ringwood and Wimborne.

My invite came by email at 11.04 this morning.

It's on October 14th, which is a wednesday so I ought to be able to make it this time. (OK I just checked and it's the week before school half-term so that's one more thing that seems alright).

Think they should make it free for support contract customers or at least 50% off. £50 is a bit steep for a few sarnies etc

Will you get hit by sales talk from Paypal and how wonderfull they are

I would've thought that a marketing email would at least get the name of the Director of Product Development right

It's in Richmond, by the River. They will be very nice Sarnies. Worth at least £4 ;-)

                        I'll second that!
Or a decent evening meal followed by the Chinese Circus.

Location's a bit duff - no parking, no local (affordable) accommodation.

I don't think I'd bother now, but by October I expect I'll need cheering up, but whether it'll be 50 squids worth of uplift I couldn't possibly say atm .
                        Kind Regards

depends what you call affordable, I suppose
been looking at several Travelodges in the area (there are 2 within 4 miles)
Pricey if bunking alone still though, I suppose (I wouldn't be....IF I go..)

I found this great site a few weeks ago:
                              http://www.parkatmyhouse.com/

Let's you rent people's private parking spaces and drive space. I've used it a few times and it is very good.
