We have had multiple e-mails to the same address for the same website. We did however order our packaging yesterday from a company that we find very good and who DO NOT SPAM.

http://www.viking-direct.co.uk/ is another good one - they also have a mailing list which is Opt-In (as opposed to spamming you until you opt out) - though you can always Opt-Out whenever you want.

www.davpack.co.uk is great for smaller cartons, and padded envelopes- prices are very competitive on larger quantities.

For stock boxes in pallet quantities these are very good and the cheapest I have come across.

Did anyone get a response about this today?

You have indicated that PostPack sent you a marketing email on 16 July 2009 without your prior consent. You have also indicated that you have no relationship with the sender of the message.

It therefore appears that PostPack has breached the Regulations in this case.

I have written to PostPack to remind them of their obligations under the Regulations and I have told them to suppress your details from their list so that they do not send you any further direct marketing emails. Suppression should take no longer than 28 days. After this time you should not receive any further messages from them.

I have also told them that we will keep your complaint on file. If you receive further marketing emails from PostPack after 28 days have elapsed, please let us know in writing, quoting the reference number above.
