Question about Section/Product Titles

Can I get some general thoughts on section/product Titles.

We are having a discussion here (well 2 of us!) about the lenght/descriptive nature of what should go in the Section/Sub Section names and product Short Description.

For example - one of us says it should be

a)Rosewood - SoundBite Treat Ball For Dogs & Puppies With Giggle Noise - 14cm/5.5"
other one says
b) SoundBite Treat Ball for Dogs - Large

or
a) Rosewood - Adjustable Double Diner Dog Food & Water Bowl Set For Dogs - Medium (4 Pint/2.25lt)
other says
b) Adjustable Double Diner - Large

So in your opinion is A or B more correct?

What's the name of the product and what's likely to be input into a search engine if someone is looking for one of them?

My instinct says that c) is the best one, i.e. one that neither of you agree upon.

The 'Short and Sweet' one.

Too many words:

- make ugly links
- weaken seo
- can be hard to fit in your layout
- Won't fit on a single line in your invoice

The details, such as (4pint, 2.2lt), should be in your detailed product description, not the product title / name (what actinic call the short product description).

Just make sure you choose the right keywords to include. If the brand name is well known and important to buyers then include that together with the product name.
