    This year's toys

I'm always a bit slow off the mark getting Christmas presents but this year my son want's a heli mission having seen it on the gadget show.

As usual, these are now hard to find. Most sites are sold out and with an RRP of £49.99 these are now selling on ebay for £85 up.

Still, I just managed to find one to reserve and collect at my 3rd nearest Argos store at the RRP. They still have one left so if you're after one check your nearest Argos store first and if no luck let me know.

Maybe I should have bought the other one and sold it on ebay myself. Not worth the effort really.

I wonder what else is hot this year?

Not 'hot' in the heli-mission sense, but we did get into The Independent's Top 50 Board Games as the supplier of this: Quoridor

Now Pete, really. Aren't you a bit old to believe in Santa??

(My 9yo's top item, on his birthday/Christmas list, was "Lifetime supply of fruit". Weirdo!!)

Guitar Hero seems to be sold out (world tour complete band kit) although my 8 year old is now getting the band hero - made by the same people with different play list - he does not know it yet

My son's other request was "I want a dog for christamas and if I don't get one I'll know Santa isn't real and it's been you all the time!"

Oh well. I'm suprised it lasted this long really.

              hahahahaha
              My 9yo has long been a non-believer.
6yo still believes though which is unfortunate as it means we have to work out a way of Santa delivering stuff to Oz for both kids this Xmas (if neither boy believed, I'd just leave it til we got home!)
