Calling all Women Actinic Users!
I would like to start a Women's Actinic User Group to meet on a monthly basis outside work hours. We have access to a boardroom, empty office space and facilities for refreshments! I am an Actinic user myself with 3 successful websites that I manage on my own (soon to take on an apprentice). My idea is to get a women's group together where we can discuss problems in a relaxed atmosphere and help each other by sharing our own personal experiences and who knows what ideas we could come up with - such as inviting speakers specific to our needs - maybe developing new business relationships etc. So far I have spoken with one lady and she is really really keen to join! Sorry, only open to Actinic users who do the work themselves and they need to be established lady owner managers. For info, I was a founding member of the Lancashire Digital Industries where we did very much the same thing, but unfortunately the funding eventually stopped. However, it was very successful indeed. Here we wouldn't need any funding!
