Looking to change my hosting

Hi, I think it's time to change my Actinic website hosting to a bigger and cheaper company (such as Hostgator or similar). I'd preferably like a simple operation with a hosting package that I know will definitely be compatible without any downtime/messing around. Can anyone recommend one, and how much per month?

Only one thing..please don't recommend Fasthosts.

There's many depending on what you want. Pinbrook is popular as they are specialists with Actinic hosting. Other options are 1and1, which I use for many sites. A search through the forum will probably bring up many more.

And yes, stay away from Fasthosts with Actinic.

In terms of big and cheap, we've used both 1&1 and Webfusion with Actinic, and you're probably looking at about £15 per month. 1&1's servers are based in Germany, Webfusion's are in the UK. The latter might be better from Google's point of view if you are using a .com in the UK, but if you are using a .co.uk the theory is that it shouldn't make much difference.
